Specifications include, but are not limited to: The New York State Insurance Fund wants to conduct a Review and Refresh of its external website (NYSIF.COM). This Review and Refresh will encompass both the current underlying website infrastructure and in working with the various NYSIF website business units and stakeholders, determine current content and future customer website interactions. It will analyze the current design and make recommendations as to a future architecture. Since the current website IT staff have the capabilities for website development, this RFQ will focus on the content management, architecture and design phases for the revised website. The NYSIF.COM infrastructure is currently hosted on multiple Windows Servers and utilizes SiteCore as its Website Content Management System (WCMS). While NYSIF is not necessarily looking to replace this WCMS, it is looking to potentially leverage some of its more advanced functionality. If, based on its inability to support newer mobile and responsive technology, recommendations as to a replacement WCMS will be considered. The website redesign process would create new page frameworks and models. These would follow the HTML5\CSS3 standards and be responsive with all various device platforms on all major browsers going back to IE9. It will also analyze the current NYSIF.COM system applications and make future design recommendations in relation to form design and overall user experience. The vendor must have completed multiple responsive website designs and provide examples of their past website creations. Also, they must be in a position to provide some detailed examples of past design work. They should have experience with Website Content Management Systems and the familiarity and ability to use SiteCore’s functionality.
