The buses are scheduled for every Saturday, 5 on average of transit buses with approximately 38-39 seats per bus in most, plus driver’s seat. In addition, 1-2 support vehicles (passenger cars) will be cleaned based on workload availability. ; On demand responses must occur within 12 hours of contractor being called by TCAT for requested service. This on-demand is usually from bio waste (blood, vomit, or other bio material) which needs to follow appropriate regulations as regulated by local, state, and federal governing bodies. Acceptable cleaning includes deep cleaning the seats. The fabric condition must be dry within 2 hours of an ambient temperature of 70 degrees Fahrenheit. The fabric appearance shall look appropriate based on age and overall condition of the fabric, which must meet the approval of TCAT maintenance. All surfaces to be cleaned shall be deodorizer, 98% germ reduction, and free of unpleasant odors. Chemicals utilized for general cleaning are to have Safety Data Sheet (SDS) number which are no greater than 2 in any of the measured categories.
