Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Minimum Requirements of Vendors A. Vendor must be a New York State regulated repair shop. B. Vendor must have five (5) years’ experience in collision repair work. C. Vendor shall be in compliance with all OSHA, DEC, and EPA laws and regulations regarding operation of a collision repair shop. 1. Vendor to preform towing services, shall be in compliance with all relevant regulations of the Department of Public Safety and the New York State Department of Transportation, including either obtaining any necessary permits or operating under a lawful exemption for a permit requirement. 2. RTS Seneca (1 DiPronio Dr, Waterloo, NY 13165) H. RTS Wayne (7227 Route 31, Lyons, NY 14489) I. RTS Wyoming (38 Duncan St, Warsaw, NY 14569) 3. Vehicle Types A. Heavy Equipment (GVWR over 15,000 lbs), to include, but not limited to: 1. 40’ & 60’ Low floor transit bus B. Other Vehicles (GVWR under 15,000 lbs), to include, but not limited to: 1. Small buses2. Vans 3. Cars 4. Light Duty Trucks 4. Service Description A. Services may include (but not limited to) bodywork, painting, chassis/frame straightening, mechanical repairs, glasswork, air conditioning, and front/rear wheel alignment. B. Vendor will provide all material, equipment, and labor to complete all repairs necessary to restore the vehicle to its pre-accident condition in terms of form, fit, finish, appearance, durability, functionally, safety, and value. C. Paint repair service to include paint touch up, scratch removal, paint restoration. 1. RGRTA shall provide paint codes and the preferred Vendor for vehicle wraps, when needed. 2. Cost of paint and vehicle wraps shall pass to RGRTA with no markup. D. Service shall include auto frame restoration and auto frame repair services, to return vehicle to factory condition, including, but not limited to auto frame straightening services. E. All such repairs shall be completed in accordance with or shall exceed industry standards in effect at time of repair.
