Existing asphalt paving is to be milled to maintain the existing elevations. Refer to Elevations listed below and to drawing attached. New asphalt paving to match existing paving, which consists of 1" top course and 2" binder course. Roadway is 20ft wide with a cross slope of 1/4" per foot from centerline to shoulder. Proposed construction sequence shall be,  Lay-out & paint perimeter of area to be repaired.  Mill existing pavement to a depth of 3” and remove debris.  Sweep area clean using power sweeper.  Install 2” State Approved Type 3 Hot Asphalt Binder Course (19.0 Binder Course), leaving 1” room for top course  Sweep area clean using power sweeper.  Apply State approved Hot Asphalt Tac-coat RS1 to entire area for proper adhesion of new pavement.  Install 1” State Approved Type 6 Hot Asphalt Top Course in a manner that meets flush with existing surrounding pavement upon compaction (6.3 Top Course). The new asphalt paving shall meet the following elevations, STA 111+00 Elevation 2008.0, G=0%, to STA 111+65; STA 111+65 Elevation 2008.0, G=-10%, to STA 111+95 at Elevation 2005.0; STA 111+95 Elevation 2005.0, G=0%, to STA 118+50; STA 118+50 Elevation 2005.0, G=10%, to STA 118+80 at Elevation 2008.0; STA 118+80 Elevation 2008.0, G=0%, to STA 118+96.71; See drawing PA34 3G-430 Rev 1 Upper Reservoir Spillway, Plan, Sections & Details
