This is a Notice of Solicitation for a lease of warehouse space. Submittal details are reflected in the attachment. The Federal Government requires a warehouse lease for equipment storage in support of Watervliet Arsenal. The proposed building must include a minimum of 40,000 SF temperature controlled space with loading docks to accomodate trailer truck deliveries along with at least 14 parking spots to support employees and additional parking to support tractor trailer parking (additional details and preferred requirements listed within attachments). Please note, certain elements are negotiable.
Full service lease is preferred and will be executed on a 1 year fixed basis with 9 renewal year options (anticipated for 10 years).
Consideration will be given for all viable properities meeting most of the requested requirements within a 4.5 miles radius fo the Watervliet Arsenal in New York.
The proposed location must be currently zoned for the intended use, building
infrastructure (water, sewer, utilities) to the proposed site must be in-place or readily available, must comply with fire safety & security requirements, and the site must have paved access to major highways. Close proximity to Watervliet Arsenal is desirable.
Offerors are specifically placed on notice that some requirements for building elements may exceed the normal "warehouse" standards as driven by military requirements and policies.
