Specifications include, but are not limited to: The work to be performed consists principally of the furnishing of all labor and materials for: Renovation of approximately 14,500 square feet of existing building space to provide offices for U.S. Customs and Border Protection Staff at the Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport. Four prime contracts to be awarded consisting of General Construction which includes architectural interior and site work consisting of demolition, partitions, doors, windows, storefronts, ceilings, flooring; finishes, asphalt paving, sanitary pipe, fencing, concrete sidewalks and ramps. Electrical construction includes power distribution, communications, lighting, fire alarm modifications, programming and access control; Mechanical Construction includes new rooftop HVAC systems, duct, diffusers, and controls; Plumbing and Fire Protection includes hot and cold water piping, drains, new bathrooms, sprinkler system modifications.
