Pursuant to Section 3-05 of the New York City Procurement Policy Board Rules, the Department of Parks & Recreation (“Parks”) intends to enter into a sole source agreement with the Trust for Public Land (“TPL”) to fund or reimburse the purchase of a Conservation Easement (“Easement”) from the Boy Scouts of America (“BSA”) over a portion of land on Staten Island known as Pouch Camp. The City of New York is seeking to prevent the development of the land, enable public access to the land, and preserve open space. Parks has determined that the only way to preserve the land as public space is through this agreement, since TPL has the exclusive right to an option to acquire an easement over Pouch Camp from BSA. Any firm that believes it Is qualified to provide these services is invited to do so. Please indicate your interest by responding to the RFI in PASSPort.
