SCOPE OF WORK As part of The New York Power Authority (NYPA) Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) Infected Tree Management Program, NYPA is seeking contractors to provide pricing for tree removal service at various locaƟons including but not limited to The River Course at Louisville Landing (RCLL) and Massena Town Beach. There are approximately 160 – 170 trees that require removal. Approximate tree locaƟons are shown on the included map and quanƟty table however contractors are encouraged to field verify all informaƟon during the site walkthrough. Most trees are marked and idenƟfied in the field however some perimeter trees shall be confirmed during the field walkthrough. The majority of the tree removal work shall take place at The River Course at Louisville Landing, see table and map for details. Other tree removal locaƟons shown on the map will require access through a variety of landowners including private residenƟal, Town, Village, and NYPA property. Contractors must minimize disturbance to all effected properƟes when performing work and accessing tree cuƫng locaƟons. Efforts shall be made to use exisƟng paths and access roads where possible and avoid unnecessary damage to surrounding areas. Any disturbance or damage caused by the contractor shall be restored to its original condiƟon. It is assumed that all tree material shall be chipped onsite and all waste material shall be disposed of along adjacent approved wooded areas (unless otherwise noted or approved). Emerald Ash Borer infected trees have the likelihood of being briƩle and breaking into small pieces upon felling. Every effort shall be made to completely remove small pieces of debris. All greens within the golf course will be encircled by stakes and ribbons by golf course staff or a designee of the operator of the golf course to clearly mark their boundaries. No employee of the Contractor shall be the designee. Other additional areas which golf course staff want to exclude equipment from shall be marked in the same manner as the greens. All areas identified by RCLL shall be completely off limits. Existing golf course irrigation mapping shall be provided for reference. Contractor work operations shall work around existing utilities as required.
