The Town is seeking to retain a transportation engineering firm with relevant experience to assist in preparing one or more grant applications for the construction and eventual continuation of an existing off-road multi-use pathway connecting the hamlets of Bedford Hills and Katonah. Work may include obtaining project data and performing any other investigations, developing programmed project costs, preliminary evaluation of right-of-way needs, scheduling of project implementation, preparing funding application and any other information pertinent to improving chances for funding under the TAP. In 2024, the Town was successful in obtaining grant funding for the design of pedestrian and safety improvements for the multi-use pathway through the Hudson River Valley Greenway Association.
