Base Bid – Hazardous Material Abatement – East Wing “Old Dispatch Area” (approx. 3,000 sq ft). 1) Abate all Asbestos, PCB and Lead Based Paint material as listed in Stohl Environmental Survey dated October 14, 2020 attached to this RFP. See Appendix A. Vapor tar on exterior walls cannot be safely removed and avoid/protect during the work. 2) Portions of asbestos flooring have previously been abated. Remove remaining floor tiles in this area (per areas 1012, 1013, and 1014 in Appendix A). 3) Contractor is responsible to remove and dispose all removed asbestos, hazardous and related material in a safe, efficient and unobstructive manner, including any materials directed by dully authorized Town representatives. 4) Demo and remove all doors, walls and other features per Figure 1 - Demolition Plan (for reference only), and dispose of materials. 5) All staying walls to be stripped down to studs or blocks.
