Specifications include, but are not limited to: This New York City Department of Transportation (NYC DOT) specification is intended to describe the requirements of 15 and 18 Cubic Yard Dump Trucks with Snow Plow Hitch. The Vehicle will be required to perform during extreme weather conditions 24/7. Its operation shall be considered severe-service. Damage to the Vehicle occurring during the normal operation of the New York City Department of Transportation (“NYCDOT”), including but not limited to use under conditions described herein, will be repaired pursuant to Section 2 herein and such use shall not be deemed abusive or excessive. All components, accessories and equipment (“components”) shall conform in strength and quality of workmanship to the best standards and engineering practice of the automotive and equipment trade. The Contractor shall provide the Vehicle fit for its intended purpose and able to withstand heavy continuous service operation by NYCDOT.
