Specifications include, but are not limited to: Experienced Strategic National Stockpile planner/consultant to assist with the County's StrategicNational Stockpile planning effort. The Contractor shall provide Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) planning andconsulting services to the MCDPH's Office of Public Health Preparedness (OPHP),on a part-time, as needed basis, including but not limited to the following: Task 1: Provide SNS planning and consulting services to include providing planmaintenance/development updates involving both the Monroe County SNS Planwhich is a functional annex to the Monroe County Emergency Management Plan(CEMP) and the MCDPH's SNS Procedures manual in accordance with 2010-11grant deliverable guidelines and the SNS Technical Assistance Review (TAR) tool. Task 2:Provide plan/procedures maintenance of the MCDPH's BiohazardDetection System (BDS) Procedures manual, a sub-set of the SNS plan.Additionally provide BDS drill development guidance for a potential April-June2011 timeframe BDS drill involving the set-up and walk-through of the BDSprocedures as it applies to the Monroe Community Hospital set-up and MCDPHstaffing. Task 3: Coordinate with local hospitals, alternate care facilities and other specialneeds groups with respect to SNS planning and operations. Task 4: Develop various plans and procedures involving the completion of PublicHealth Preparedness and Response to Bioterrorism program 2009-10 grantdeliverables as they specifically relate to SNS. Task 5: Assist with other projects and activities as needed and determined by the Director, OPHP. Deliverables: Plans, procedures, and policies development/maintenance andother completed projects as assigned by the Director, OPHP based upon directionfrom the Director, MCDPH, Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and/or New York State Department of Health (NYSDOH).
