The City of Buffalo has issued this Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking qualified professionals to provide representation on behalf of the City with respect to certain government related matters in Albany, before the Executive Chamber, the State Legislature, and the other State agencies and authorities. Strong consideration will be given to applicants who can demonstrate expertise in New York State government affairs and legislative services (“lobbying”). Matters for which the City may require advice, counsel, recommendations, and representation may include but are not limited to: ▪ General State legislative issues ▪ Local government assistance ▪ Identification of revenue generating opportunities ▪ Input on City’s annual State legislative agenda ▪ Advice/input on State policy and fiscal matters ▪ Public relations /communication support
