Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Snow plowing, and ice melting consists of, but is not limited to, the following areas (See map for details – Attachment A): i. All roadways in and around the RTC property ii. All sidewalk locations 1. Sidewalk along roadway in front of RTC 2. Sidewalk in front of RTC iii. All parking areas iv. Greyhound/Trailways arrival and departure areas v. Ramp leading to rail platform vi. Rail platform vii. Drive thru and trash receptacle road b. The following are the criteria for, but not limited to, the plowing of snow and/or the melting of ice: i. An accumulation of 1” or more of snow on the roadways of the facility 1.must be kept clear for the duration of a storm event. ii. CNYRTA cannot guarantee empty parking lots. The areas/lots must be cleared as thoroughly as possible, taking precautions not to damage any parked vehicles. iii. The sidewalk at the entrance of the building, walkway from the parking lots to the building, the ramp leading up to the rail platform and the rail platform must be kept clear of snow and ice. 1.The use of a power broom is recommended. iv. Snow must be placed so as to minimize loss of parking spaces. v. ANY ice accumulation must be melted. vi. Removal of snow stockpiles, as requested by CNYRTA. vii. A log, to include date, time of snow removal, ice melting or both, must be submitted to the RTC Manager/Foreman on a weekly basis.
