The town will purchase two Metal Pless model TRK11LE snow plow blades with the following specifications: • Main blade specs: Main blade shall be 11' wide and 42" high. • Main blade shall be equipped with lateral floating of the blade. • Main blade frame shall be strengthened by a tubular beam 6"x8" 1/4" thick Tubular beam shall be re-enforced by a 3" x 7 1/2" channel 1/4" thick Moldboard shall be fabricated by 1/8" thick steel and consist of 15 bends over the surface allowing a smooth curve of the moldboard. • Moldboard shall also be strengthened by five ribs 3/8" thick and bolted to said 6"x8" tubular beam. A lifting point shall be available on the center rib for ease of loading & unloading. • Moldboard shall angle 30 degrees by two cylinders with a 3" bore diameter and 20" stroke. • Moldboard shall rest on two sets of castor wheels or banana style wear shoes. The town is looking to replace existing HDPE tanks with three 3,000 gallon XLPE tanks for the storage of salt brine used in the winter time on roadways with XLPE tanks. The tanks must have the following components. • Capacity requirement is 3,000 gallons each. • Construction XLPE double wall storage tank with an 18 inch man-way. • The Town is requesting prices for two wall thicknesses to support a specific gravity (SG) of 1.5 and 1.9. The town reserves the right to chose which SG is acceptable based on price and features. If you do not have tanks with both or these SG reply with the nearest SG model(s).
