Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Successful Bidder shall provide sedan vehicle service b. Successful Bidder shall provide a sedan for each of the following: i. Monday thru Friday (does not operate on holidays): 1. Monday- Friday- 5:30AM – 2:30PM- 8 hours work with 1 hr floating/flexible split 2. Monday- Friday- 7:30AM - 12:30PM - 5 hours of work with no split ii. Saturday & Sunday 1. 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM – 5 hours of work with no split Holidays are New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day as observed by CNYRTA. c. Sedan vehicle service shall be origin to destination and curb-to-curb or door-to-door only. i. Drivers shall provide door-to-door service when noted in the manifest, or upon request from the customer. ii. Drivers shall not enter any residential or commercial buildings to assist customers. iii. Drivers must always have sight of their vehicle while in service. d. Drivers shall provide passenger assistance when needed. Assistance may include, but not be limited to: i. Guiding the passenger to handrails and seats; ii. Assisting the passenger with seat belts, lap belts and shoulder harnesses; iii. Assisting the passenger by guiding them from the exterior door to the vehicle and back, if requested; iv. Assisting the passenger by carrying up to six (6) grocery bags to and from the vehicle and an exterior door; v. Providing verbal cues or orientation announcements for passengers who are visually impaired; and vi. Providing other assistance to passengers as noted on the driver’s manifest. e. Bidder shall be required to provide CAB with access to a live contact starting 30 minutes prior to start of service and ending 30 minutes following end of service, including the holidays listed above. Contact shall be provided at no additional cost. i. This contact shall be able to handle all of the following, including, but not limited to: 1. Schedule adherence (early, late, or on time); 2. Trip requests/add ons from CAB dispatch; 3. Cancellations; and 4. Driver location information. f. Bidder shall be required to provide CAB with driver name and number for each run the evening prior to service. g. Drivers shall be required to properly complete manifests by recording their actual arrival time and odometer reading at each scheduled stop as well as the fare they collect from the customer, and whether or not door-to-door assistance was provided. (Exhibit C – Manifest Review) i. Tentative manifests will be made available by close of CAB office the day prior. ii. Manifest will be provided to Bidder either through e-mail or a paper copy to be picked up at the CAB office.
