The successful respondent will be granted a license agreement to operate the “Seasonal Concession Stand at West Islip Beach.” The winning response will best identify and outline the plan to improve the facility and operate within the expectations of the Town. Improvements to the facility and installation of appropriate equipment are expected. While the Town is open to all concepts and ideas, given the location and existing infrastructure, the facility is best suited for a prep kitchen and pre-packaged food and drinks. The Town will accept proposals including a working kitchen but expect the winning respondent to perform all necessary permitting, approval and construction to make the kitchen functional. The Town does not anticipate authorizing the sale of alcohol at this facility.
