The Town is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide scanning, digitizing and indexing of physical files for the Planning/Building Department. The intent of the services to be provided is to convert paper documents into searchable, digital files through the Town's OnBase system or Open Gov. The successful proposer shall pack and transport to their scanning facility, approximately 505 boxes with approximately 2,300 papers per box (an estimate of 1,161,500 pages). Paper files to be converted to searchable, electronic images.. The Town will provide all documents in labeled boxes. Successful proposer will pick up all boxes from Babylon Town Hall. All boxes shall by the successful proposer to their secure, locked location. Please indicate where your facility is located. The facility shall be located in proximity to the Town of Babylon, as the Town, from time to time, may request specific files be returned. These files must be returned within 24 hours of the request from the Town. Weekends and holidays are not included in the 24 hours notice.
