Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Monroe County Department of Transportation is seeking a qualified contractor(s) to provide snow removal services as well as snow removal equipment at various locations throughout the County. The work to be done under this contract and in accordance with these specifications consists of furnishing of equipment, material, supervision, labor, technical knowledge and skills necessary to satisfactorily and safely complete the job as outlined in this agreement. Primary responsibility for such services shall be that of the contractor under the general direction of a DOT Operations Supervisor. Limited services will be provided by the Countys vehicles, personnel and equipment to augment the services of the contractor. The decision to use County vehicles, personnel and equipment will be solely at the discretion of the County for partial or entire sections.
