A. Parking Lot: - Snow plowing will occur during and after snow events and will remove snow from the main parking lot, all fire lanes and emergency escape routes on the side of the building. Dumpster access paths will be an upon request service. - The snow plowing portion of the service must be completed before 6:30am. In the event of a morning or afternoon snow fall we will require plowing once 2" of accumulation exists. - Additionally, The Erie County Sheriff’s Office facility located at 13 Centre Dr, Orchard Park, NY 14127 houses a 24/7 operation, and plowing may be required, upon request, at any time of the day or night. There will be no limit on the number of times plowed; the contract will cover the entire snowfall season. B. Footpaths: - Specified walkways must be cleared of snow: - The sidewalk at the front of the building which joins the entries of the Sheriff’s Office Administration Office and Investigative Services Office and is clearly marked via exterior signage, - The sidewalk at the rear of the structure to the rear entry/exit man door which is a covered entry way and easily identifiable. - Fire exits which are attached to the plowed parking lot area C. Special Considerations - Major snow events: - In the event of a snowfall greater than 12" in a 24-hour period, The Erie County Sheriff’s Office facility located at 13 Centre Dr, Orchard Park, NY 14127, may potentially require Emergency Snow Removal Equipment. The use of this equipment will be authorized by the customer (See Paragraph III) II. Salting A. Parking Lot: - Salting will occur concurrently with plowing services, and additionally by request. Approximately 2 tons of salt will be applied to the main parking lot, walkways, fire lanes, delivery routes and non-parking paved areas. B. Footpaths: - The Erie County Sheriff’s Office facility located at 13 Centre Dr, Orchard Park, NY 14127 will also require salt for the above specified walkways to entry/exit doors. The exact amount of salt used per application is TBD but will most likely not exceed 2 tons. . C. Special Considerations: - Salting may also be needed during non-snow events - Additionally, The Erie County Sheriff’s Office facility located at 13 Centre Dr, Orchard Park, NY 14127 houses a 24/7 operation and salting may be required, upon request, at any time of the day or night
