Bloomington Fire Station: If less than two inches or more than one-half inch of snow falls, the bays and parking lot must be cleared of ice or snow. After two inches of snow has fallen, engine bays and parking areas must be plowed/cleared for every additional two inches that accumulate. The sidewalks, shed pad, fuel tank, water fill area, and generator access must be cleared after each storm. The sidewalks and bay areas are to be salted with magic salt provided by the contractor. In the event of any ice storm, salt is to be applied to the bay area, parking lot, and walkways. There shall be no snow or ice pushed against the retaining wall near the bay doors. Binnewater Station: The same specifications apply, excluding the fuel area and generator. At the end of the season, all plow debris and any plow damage must be repaired.
