The work includes, but is not limited to, the following: Mini Bids A-Reroofing Removing and Replace existing roof as indicated on the drawing and specified in the Project Manual . Works to include, but not limited to the following: 1. Existing roof drainage system to remain and be reused. 2. The removal of existing roofing system down to the existing metal deck roof at entire roof plane as indicated; Demolition and remoals and repair as shown or required to perform new work. Demolition of exisitng HAVC roof top unit and installation of new roof top unit related works are not included in Mini BID A-reroofing work scopes, as those work scopes are included in Mini BID C HVAC work. 3. Contractor shall verify the locations and heights of all roof planes, exterior building features beneath the roofs, penetrations through roof decks and/or walls, and equipment curbs and supports. the contractor shall protect at all times all existing roof mounted equipment, ductwork, conduit, vent stacks, and all other existing rooftop items. any damaged items shall be replaced at no additional cost to the owner. 4. Contractor shall verify and patch/repair all roof penetrations if not currently in use. 5. Contractor shall reconnect and reinstall all existing roof mounted electrical and mechanical equipment and devices as required upon completion of the new roofing system. the contractor shall have a licensed electrician re-connect and extend as required all electrical and mechanical connectors to ensure proper working order. 6. The contractor is responsible for all damages to the interior and exterior of the building that result from the work including but not limited to adhesive drippings, water leaks, equipment damage, damage to interior features, etc. any items damaged are to be replaced at no cost to the owner. 7. Provide new epdm roofing system over entire existing metal roof deck as per Section 075323 and Section 077200. Including but not limited to provide new membrane roofing, . flashings, sealants and edge metals, mechanical attachments, primers and adhesives cover board and miscellaneous accessories as required for a complete warranted roofing system by manufacturer. Parapet metal copings to match exisiting metal copings. Provide R30 roof insulation, vapor retatdor, walkway system as required. Install tapered insulation boards as required to provide a minimum of 1/8" per 12" pitch towards roof drains. 8. The contractor shall be responsible for providing all equipment, labor, materials and miscellaneous accessories, whether indicated in the contract documents or not, as required for installation of a complete warranted roof system. 9. Refer to A101.00 for roof plan drawig and details. All other works shown and specified within the Contract Documents A101.00 are for Mini Bid B - GC Interior work, and Mini Bid C – HVAC work, Mini Bids D-Electrical work. 10. Project closeout submittals and documents of equipment and warranties.
