Specifications include, but are not limited to: The services to be provided to the approximately two hundred ninety (290) attorneys should include, but not be limited to, access to nationwide, multi-jurisdictional computer assisted research in federal and state case law, bill text, statutes and regulations, specialty libraries, legislative material, bill text and legislative history, codes, state and federal sources, such as agency opinions and guidance, law review articles, treatises and guides, jurisprudence, restatement of the law, legal national briefs, pleadings and motions, legal treatises and other secondary sources and materials, including but not limited to NY Jury Verdict Search, legal, news and business sources and public records, expert, attorney and/or witness search databases and any other related or ancillary services, jury instructions, administrative materials, legal newspapers and Matthew Bender secondary materials. All such databases should be updated daily. In addition, services should include a drafting tool to evaluate documents and other written material that verifies and updates quotes and legal documents as well as an extensive collection of briefs, pleadings and motions. It should also include products that enhance the capability of appellate attorneys. Further, the proposal shall also include a specific list of standard training for optimization of the use of the products, both individual and small group training, customer service access to guide research/use of products and troubleshooting with attorneys as problems arise.
