Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State University Construction Fund is seeking Statements of Qualifications from consultants to provide design and construction administration services for the Replace Roofs � West Gym, Administration, Health Services project at the State University of New York at Binghamton. The Project is the replacement of roofs at West Gymnasium, Couper Administration, and Decker Heath Services. The West Gym, constructed in 1969, is a 142,000 GSF 1-1/2 story building with multiple roof areas. The Administration building, constructed in 1967, is a 65,450 GSF building comprised of two towers, one 3-story and the other 8-story plus penthouse. The Health Services building, constructed in 1996, is a 21,000 GSF one-story building. The entire roofing systems are to be replaced including membrane, insulation, and all other components of the roofing system. Existing parapets may require modifications to height for potential increase in insulation. Ancillary work including replacing skylights, providing safety tie offs, and concrete repair is also included. Work at West Gym Includes 4 main roof areas. The roofs over the Gym and Pool are thin-shell concrete structure in barrel vault design with polyester resin/sprayed polyurethane foam roofing system. The roof over the Lobby is thin-shell concrete structure in a hyperbolic paraboloid design with polyester resin roofing system. The remaining roof area is insulated EPDM.
