Contractor will provide a refuse transfer facility for OPRHP staff to dispose of Municipal Solid Waste (MSW). OPRHP expects to dispose approximately 375 tons of MSW annually. Service Requirements • Refuse will be transported by OPRHP staff, in OPRHP vehicles. • Disposal facility must be accessible to OPRHP staff during standard business hours, including but not limited to the hours of 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM during the following dates: o Memorial Day through Labor Day – the transfer facility is to be made available Monday through Sunday, including all holidays. o Day after Labor Day through Memorial Day – the transfer facility is to be made available Monday through Friday • Considering wear and tear on OPRHP vehicles as well as staff time utilized for transportation, the provided transfer facility address must be located less than 50 miles round trip (maximum 25 miles one-way) from Sunken Meadow State Park located at 1 Sunken Meadow Pkwy, Kings Park, NY 11754. Bidders must use Google Maps (http://maps.google.com) to determine the miles to Sunken Meadow State Park.
