1. Inform other industry best practices and technology integration related to risk management, internal controls, and program sustainability. 2. Prepare and support activities to ensure Authority’s compliance with NERC Reliability Standards, NPCC Directories and FERC Orders. 3. Develop, review, and enhance Authority’s NERC compliance policies, procedures, failure point identifications and internal controls, Reliability Standard Audit Worksheets (RSAWs), and other compliance job aids. 4. Conduct assessments of Authority’s compliance with selected applicable standards and directories. 5. Conduct reviews of compliance documentation prior to self-certifications or other regulatory submittals. 6. Provide support to prepare for compliance engagements conducted by NPCC for applicable standards. 7. Provide support in investigations of potential noncompliance concerning applicable standards and directories. 8. Provide support to develop self-reports and mitigation plans for confirmed noncompliance of applicable standards. 9. Provide support to develop and deliver training programs and materials for demonstrating compliance with applicable standards and directories. 10. Review and recommend improvements to Authority’s governance for its reliability standards compliance management program, including pre-audit preparation, onsite audit and post audit activities, and management of findings and recommendations. 11. Identify actual or perceived gaps in Authority processes for NERC compliance. 12. Provide support with internal technical verification and review and enhance the compliance study reports. 13. Provide expertise to mitigate risks associated with emerging technologies and renewable energy. 14. Provide engineering and operational expertise to improve compliance processes.
