Specifications include, but are not limited to: MCDSS-based mental health services will be provided on site at 691 St. Paul Street during regular business hours of 8AM-5PM. These services will include: 1. Linkage and referral to other ongoing mental health, Health Home Care Management and housing resources based on an individualized, person-centered assessment of need. Clinical staff should have extensive knowledge of relevant community resources and how to access them to promote an individual’s recovery and housing stability. 2. Crisis intervention for individuals experiencing acute distress while on site at the MCDSS St. Paul offices. Crisis intervention should emphasize assessment, stabilization and linkage to other necessary services. Historically, occurrences of clinical crises in this setting are not frequent (e.g. approximately 3-4 incidents per month) but it is anticipated that onsite crisis intervention may be used more routinely to promote stability and prevent further escalation and the need for more acute interventions. 3. Case consultation with MCDSS staff, both individually and during team meetings. 4. Education and training with MCDSS staff about mental health conditions, services and other related topics, as requested.
