Specifications include, but are not limited to: The selected Respondent will establish a program for the provision of Recreation, Education and Wellness Activities (“Program”) for residents of Monroe County age 60 and over (“Older Adults”). Respondent must provide a comprehensive array of activities to help older adults maintain and/or improve their physical, social, and mental well‐being. The Program must comply with applicable Federal New York State and Local regulations including, the Older Americans Act, New York State Elder Law, and policies and requirements issued by the New York State Office for the Aging (NYSOFA) and MCOFA. The Program must be designed and delivered in a way that Older Adults can understand and participate. The Program is not intended to reach every Older Adult in the community, but those in greatest social and economic need. These include Older Adults who are: Low Income; Minority; Residents of Rural Communities; Limited English Proficient (LEP); and At risk of institutional care.
