The vendor proposes to furnish all materials, labor and insurance to perform one (1) coat of pavement maintenance to all bituminous concrete areas comprising a total of approximately 15,575 square yards. The Maintenance process is as follows: 1. Crack Filling – rout, air blow and thoroughly clean all newly formed structural cracks (approx. 1,600 lineal feet). Fill to refusal with hot-poured, rubberized joint seal in strict accordance with Federal Specification SS-S-164, SS-S1401C, ASTM D-3405 and FAA Specification P-605, Type 111. 2. Cleaning – Air blow and thoroughly clean all bituminous concrete surfaces. Prime all oil, gas and fuel derivative spots with Action Pave Oil Spot Primer. 3. Action Pave Sand Sealer – Furnish and apply 1 coat of Action Pave rubberized sand slurry, with 4-6 pounds of sand blended into each gallon of emulsion. Apply materials at a rate of .12 gallons per square yard. 4. Clean Up – Clean up general work area. 5. Line Marking – Machine spray all lines and markings per existing layout or customer request. 6. Workmen must be paid prevailing wage rates while working on the job at Hoosick Falls School District. All labor provided for work on this contract are the responsibility and paid by the successful bidder. 7. Before job begins, provide insurance certificate with Hoosick Falls Central School District as additionally insured. 8. Work is to be scheduled for August 2025 and to be completed by August 31, 2025.
