This agreement will provide Construction Inspection Services for the project that will address defects, damage and/or deterioration of concrete pavement (including shoulders) on portions of the BQE, CBE, Clearview, Nassau Expressways and the Belt Parkway within New York City. Work will include full or partial depth (cast-in-place and precast) concrete pavement repairs, stress relieving pavement repairs, repair of curbs, rails, barriers, resetting catch basins, and re-striping of pavement markings on damaged concrete pavement within the project area. The project will not require the removal of trees, vegetation or the construction of curb ramps. NYSDOT-approved sustainable/recycled materials or locally sourced materials may be used for proposed pavement, sidewalks, and drainage areas, as applicable. Additionally, the scope includes identifying any flooding issues within the area for repair or replacement and considering upgrading drainage systems as needed. Inspectors may be required to work nights and/or weekends.
