Lubricants: All base oil must be premium 100% Paraffin solvent refined or hydro cracked with a minimum Viscosity index of 95 or higher. The finest field tested and OEM approved additive packages must be employed to provide the maximum performance capability. Lubricants must be of an extended service capable design. Extended service must be supported by approved performance data indicating quality performance and extended equipment life. Multi-viscosity SAE 15W-40 Motor Oil must meet API CJ-4/SM requirements with a TBN of 10 using ASTM D-2896 and sulfated ash of less than 1% using ASTM D-874. The Bid 15W-40 must meet or exceed the outlines and specification requirements listed. Hydraulic Oil of ISO Viscosity grades 32 and 46 must pass the ASTM D-943 Oxidation Test for 3000+ hours. They must meet or exceed the outlines and specification requirements listed. Gear Lubricant SAE 85W-140 must meet API GL-5 requirement as well as the latest Mack EO-J and Meritor Rockwell 076A, 076D and 076F specifications. It must also be suitable for limited slip applications. All oils must meet military oil compatibility requirements of all seals and O-rings. Antifreeze must be Ethylene Glycol Base and be compatible with all antifreeze formulas regardless of color. Antifreeze must be highest quality to meet or exceed the outline and specifications specified. All bidders must supply a copy of their API license with the bid indicating approval to display the API “Doughnut”. All products submitted for consideration must be supported by recognized lubricant test and performance data sheets. Bidder must submit supporting Data Sheets along with bid forms. After thorough review of all bidder entries, the award will be made for the complete bid to the bidder providing the most comprehensive bid meeting the subscribed specifications. GEAR LUBRICANT GEAR LUBRICANT - A sulfur-phosphorus extreme pressure type of gear lubricant containing limited slip additives. It must maintain a lubricating film under severe loads, such as those encountered in Hypoid Gears. Recommended wherever API GL-4, GL-5, MT-1, SAE J 2360 (formerly MIL-PRF2105E), Mack GO-H, or Mack GO-J lubricant is specified. It should not contain highly active sulfur or zinc.
