Specifications include, but are not limited to: a. Contractor will be responsible for providing radiological facilities management, interpretation and quality assurance services to support the Fire Department’s comprehensive fitness for duty evaluations and WTC HP program. The radiology services cohort can consist of up to approximately twenty-five thousand (25,000) members including active employees, retired employees enrolled in the WTC HP, and candidates for employment. Facilities and quality assurance management services will be performed at the Department’s Bureau of Health Services headquarters location. Radiological interpretive services will be performed offsite. b. The Contractor for Radiology Facilities Management will include day-to-day management of all FDNY radiology services, encompassing a turn-key approach to all radiology, interpretation and quality assurance functions. The Contractor for Radiology Facilities Management services would include but not be limited to radiology facility staffing with appropriately licensed or certified employees, performance of radiology studies, scheduling appointments and managing cohort member records, Picture Archiving and Communications System (“PACS”) and Radiology Information System (“RIS”) management, digitizing historical X-rays, oversight of all preventative maintenance and any repair of radiology facility equipment, and maintenance of the facility’s radiographic accreditation...
