The Vendor / Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, parts, equipment to manufacture / fabricate, transport and deliver the two (2) new identical Cooling Towers. The Vendor / Contractor must include all documentation associated with the Cooling Towers including drawings, technical manuals as well as installation information. The Cooling Towers shall meet the following Mechanical Specifications: • Certified Thermal Performance (CTI) in accordance with Cooling Technology Institute Standard STD-201 RS • Materials of construction shall be Type 304 Stainless Steel. All factory seams in the cold water basin will be welded to ensure watertight construction and welded seams shall be warranted against leaks for a period of five (5) years. • Footprint for the units are 8-1/2 ft x 6 ft long nominal • Maximum Height of units are 12’6 ¼” • Dry Switch Point is 32F • Belt Drive • Operating Conditions – 140 GPM/98/88/76 wet bulb with a total pressure drop of not more than 0.63psi • Operating weight – 7,560 lbs • Access doors provided for interior inspection, cleaning and adjustments are constructed of Type 304 stainless steel • The air inlet louvers shall be constructed of PCV honeycomb shape louver which will act as an air inlet screen and block sunlight to the basin and the front fill • The units shall be provided with corrosion resistant Stainless Steel Fan Shafts • Fan should be fixed pitch, heavy duty, cast aluminum axial flow. Fan motor should be totally enclosed, air over (TEAO), one speed, one winding, reversible squirrel cage, ball bearing type, designed for evaporative heat rejection service. Maximum fan HP should be 3HP. • Fan and steel shaft should be supported by heavy duty, self-aligning, grease packed, relubricatable ball bearings with seals to protect against dust and moisture.
