Nassau County, New York (the “County”) is currently seeking proposals (“Applications”) from qualified individuals (“Applicants”) for the position of board certified Psychiatrist. The purpose of the Request for Proposal (“applications”) is to enter into a personal service contract with a board certified Psychiatrist to provide highly specialized/sensitive court ordered examinations and provide expert court testimony on various criminal cases; as well as civil matters before the Court for the Division of Forensic Services for the Nassau County Office of Mental Health, Chemical Dependency and Developmental Disabilities Services (“the Office”); and lead the Assisted Outpatient Treatment (AOT) program, a service mandated by the New York State Office of Mental Hygiene.
