The Municipal Housing Authority for the City of Yonkers, NY (the Authority) is soliciting Statements of Qualifications and Proposals from architectural firms interested in providing professional architectural design, engineering, and construction administration services for work under an IDIQ (Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity) contract with the Authority for a three (3)-year term. The selected A/E firm shall provide comprehensive architectural and engineering services, including but not limited to: • Site surveys, assessments, and feasibility studies. • Design development, including schematic designs, construction documents, and specifications compliant with local building codes, HUD standards, and accessibility requirements (e.g., ADA, UFAS). • Cost estimating and value engineering to ensure projects stay within budget. • Bidding assistance, including preparation of bid documents, pre-bid meetings, and bid evaluations. • Construction administration, including site inspections, submittal reviews, progress meetings, change order processing, and as-built drawings. • Compliance monitoring for HUD requirements, such as wage interviews (using HUD Form 11), certified payroll reviews, and Section 3 reporting. • Engineering disciplines as needed: civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and environmental. Services will be issued via task orders on an as-needed basis. The firm must demonstrate familiarity with HUD-funded projects, public housing environments, and sustainable design practices.
