The Department of Public Works is seeking professional engineering and surveying services to perform a traffic assessment, aerial survey, truck turning template, in accordance with ADA, MUTCD and other applicable codes. Identify the source(s) of traffic challenges and provide recommendations for optimal solutions. Task 1: Identify project stakeholders including neighborhood groups within the City and outside interests to hold project kickoff and scoping meeting. The consultant will meet with this group for presentation/review of 50% plans for input before presentation to the City Council. Task 2: Review existing roadway designation to see if selected routes are access highways, truck routes or have other prohibitive designations for accepting commercial truck traffic. Task 3: For any new potential intersection affected by this plan, perform scaled aerial imagery and truck turning template to ensure WB-67 truck can maneuver intersection without conflict to existing structures and improvements.
