The Proposer shall provide comprehensive anesthesiology services to all NHCC patients requiring anesthesia consultation or anesthesia care, regardless of payor source, and assume full responsibility for clinical and administrative oversight of the Department of Anesthesiology. 1. Coverage & Staffing • Availability: Continuous coverage, on-site and on-call, 24/7/365, based on patient need • Minimum Coverage: o Operating Rooms: Up to nine (9) ORs daily, scalable, case volume in Appendix A. o Labor & Delivery: 24/7 coverage, including dedicated obstetric anesthesia services. o Pediatric: ~ 2 per month o Trauma: In-person response within thirty (30) minutes of activation. o STAT Consults: Response within sixty (60) minutes, in person or by phone. o Procedural & Ancillary Areas: Coverage for GI, interventional radiology, ASC, MRI sedation, emergency response, and other areas as required. • Staffing: Adequate staffing to meet all demand and accreditation standards. • Scheduling: Overseeing daily operating room scheduling, pre-surgical testing appointment, ensuring prompt surgical start and turnaround process; ensure monthly schedules submitted by the 20th of the preceding month; bi-annual coverage and business reviews with NHCC.
