Preliminary Design, Design, and Design Services During Construction for the Rehabilitation of the Catskill Aqueduct Rondout Pressure Tunnel

• Review CAPT-CAI reports, findings and recommendations; • Review USGS findings report “Preliminary Assessment of the Effects of Leakage from the Catskill Aqueduct on the Bedrock-Aquifer System near High Falls, NY, October 2019–January 2020” and well monitoring data as it becomes available; • Review previous surface expression monitoring; • Perform water quality sampling of leakage and other water features and geochemical conditions; • Perform onsite inspections and investigations; • Perform geotechnical investigations; • Perform hydraulic and groundwater table modeling; • Perform leak analysis and quantification above and adjacent to the RPT; • Perform well survey in the vicinity of RPT for the purposes of understanding effect of selected repair on wells; • Evaluate and present repair alternatives to ensure long-term resiliency; • Design selected alternative(s), including civil site improvements necessary for construction and or site access;
