The scope of services includes: 1. Asbestos Surveying • Conduct comprehensive asbestos surveys in various residential and commercial buildings as requested. Surveys may include both visual inspections and sampling of materials. • Prepare detailed reports identifying the location, type, and condition of any identified asbestos-containing materials (ACMs). • Provide recommendations for asbestos management, removal, or encapsulation if necessary. 2. Air Monitoring • Conduct air monitoring during abatement activities or as required for compliance with asbestos safety standards. • Provide real-time air sampling and analysis to assess airborne fiber levels. • Ensure all air monitoring and testing meets OSHA, EPA, and NYS Department of Health guidelines. • Prepare reports outlining results of air monitoring, including recommendations for remediation if airborne fiber concentrations exceed permissible limits. 3. Regulatory Compliance • Ensure all work is in compliance with the following: • OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) regulations (29 CFR 1910.1001 and 29 CFR 1926.1101). • EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) regulations (40 CFR 763). • New York State Department of Labor Asbestos Control regulations. • Any additional local or state requirements. 4. Emergency Response • Provide emergency asbestos surveying and air monitoring as necessary, including response time and availability during non-business hours.
