● Provide on-site, NYS licensed clinical social worker and/or NYS certified school social workers to meet the district’s needs during periods of vacancy or leaves ● Participate in meetings of the Committee on Special Education (CSE), Committee on Preschool Special Education (COSE), and in the determination of eligibility and recommendations for services for individuals with educational disabilities ● Complete social history evaluations and updates as needed, and complete the social functioning sections of each student’s IEP. ● Provide individual and/or group counseling services to students with specific school-based counseling needs to improve their educational adjustment, including working with a broad range of problems affecting students in school that stem from home, school and community factors, as determined by individual education plans. ● Keep specific session notes and monitor progress on all counseling related needs and goals specified in each student’s IEP and complete progress reports and updates. ● Complete all required documentation, including Medicaid billing, evaluations, IEPs and social history reports;
