Pumps - 10-inch 100HP KSB Dry pit submersible Pump – KRT K 250-401/806XNG1-D • All products proposed as “acceptable” or “equal” must fully comply with all specifications • After installation pump startup will be completed by the manufactures authorized representative. • Shall be submersible up to 100’ above pump inlet • Motor shall have cooling jacket, 10” x 14” Suction Elbow with inspection port • Comply with AISI, ASTM, HI, NEC and ISO standards • each pump shall be capable to lift 4940 GPM at total dynamic head of 54 feet according to HI 14.6: 2016 Grade 1U • Hydraulic efficiency in this duty point shall not be less than 77% and approved according to HI 14.6: 2016 Grade 1U • Pump shall be provided with 7 year protected warranty against defects in materials and or workmanship • Provided pumps should be capable of handling unscreened wastewater, and have non-clogging impeller with a minimum free passage of 4.1 inches. • Impeller must be one piece cast duplex stainless steel grade A890 CD4 MCuN • Wear rings shall be made of Duplex Stainless Steal • Pump volute will have centerline discharge • Pump motor shall have windings that are Current-UV-Dip-impregnated to ensure uniformity with winding fill factor of at least 95% • Pump shall have a minimum of 50ft power/control cord with triple sealed cable entry design. • Pump will be fitted with PT-100 sensor in lower pump side bearing to monitor bearing temperature. Temperature shall be monitored using pump manufactures standard relay and not require additional PLC. o Includes leak chamber detection Installation • Demo and removal of existing concrete pump bases • Removal of existing pumps and plumbing • Install of new battered concrete supports as designed by KSB • Installation of new pumps • Relocated discharge side isolation valve upward and replace spool between valve and check valve • Reinstall piping ( new grout/anchors included) o New filler flange / gaskets/ adapter to make final height as necessary included. • Contractor shall be responsible for all required equipment for unloading / moving equipment for duration of work • Contractor shall be responsible for bypassing station while work is completed. o ( Any plumbing parts for bypass, bypass pump capable of handling 14 MGD, all other parts / equipment for station bypass) • Replace 2 jacket heat exchangers with 2 spool pieces 16” x 36” in discharge piping. • All plumbing parts (bolts, nuts, and gaskets) provided by contractors. • Site visit required (M-F 9am-2pm)
