The consultant shall be responsible for providing the number of personnel, as required by the Commissioner, to perform construction observation and related services as outlined below on an as-needed basis for various improvements (i.e. reconstruction, overlay, drainage, pavement repair, etc.) performed during implementation of the program. The consultant shall provide on-site the number of personnel, as required by the Commissioner, to observe the daily progress of the assigned project and to assure that all work and material incorporated into the project meets requirements of the plans, specifications and acceptable construction practices. Plans and specifications will be provided to the consultant by the Town. Perform yield calculations on material placed. (QC form will be provided to the Consultant by the Town) Measure quantities placed on a daily basis. (Daily Report Forms will be provided to the consultant by the Town) Collect Contractor's daily attendance sheets. Check the adequacy of the contractor's daily maintenance and protection of traffic. Interface with the DPW's tow truck when vehicles require towing. Check and resolve resident's complaints with the contractor. Prepare a punch list and insure punch list work is completed.
