Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Schenectady Municipal Housing Authority (SMHA) is making avail- able a total of up to forty (40) Project-Based Section-8 vouchers (PBV) to support the preservation or creation of affordable housing opportunities for low-income persons and families in the City of Schenectady. PBVs may be awarded to a new or substantial rehabilitation multi family project, a single family project or projects, or a combination of both multifamily and single family projects of units specifically made available for low-income persons and families. SMHA's intent is to enter into a Housing Assistance Payment con- tract, or contracts, with an owner for up to fifteen years, which may be extended at the sole discretion of the Authority.
