Specifications include, but are not limited to: The New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC), on behalf of the City of New York (the City), is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) seeking a Consultant to develop, launch, and operate Pilot Health Tech NYC (the Program), a program to provide matching funding to approximately 10 innovative pilot projects annually to take place in New York City. The Program will partner entrepreneurial healthcare technology companies in the private sector, with organizations or individuals providing healthcare services in NYC (e.g., hospitals, physician clinics, payors, pharma, nursing associations, etc.). Each project will be focused on addressing defined needs of the healthcare industry and testing a technology prototype in a healthcare setting. The main goals of the Program are to: 1. Build relationships between NYC healthcare provider organizations and NYC healthcare technology companies that can turn into long-term client-vendor relationships. 2. Provide guidance to healthcare providers and companies on how to integrate and scale the most innovative healthcare technologies. 3. Generate awareness for NYC as a hub for innovation in healthcare technology.
