1. Provide general optometric consultation to MCH as it pertains to the optometry program and the provision of optometry services at MCH. 2. Develop a program for the oversight of the visual health of MCH residents. Selected Respondent will be responsible for coordinating with MCH to develop schedule for service delivery based upon clinic availability. 3. Evaluative services provided to residents shall include, but not necessarily be limited to: a. Allergies b. Cataracts c. Diabetic Eye Evaluation d. Dry Eye e. Eye infections/Treatment(s) for Red Eye f. Eyeglasses g. Glaucoma Detection h. High Risk Ocular Effects of Medication(s) i. Low Vision j. Macular Degeneration k. Minimum Data Set (MDS) Assessments l. Post Stroke Rehabilitation Integrating with Physical, Occupational, and Speech Therapies m. Recommendations for Preventive Care n. Refractions 4. In addition to eyeglass evaluation, additional eyeglass services shall include, but not necessarily be limited to: a. Frame Selection and Fitting b. Adjustment and Repair c. Recycling 5. MCH provides optometric equipment for use by optometric practitioners to include: lensometer, occluder, trial frame, Tonopen, projector, slit lamp and adjustable stand.
