NYSIF’s Risk Control Department delivers safety and loss prevention services designed to reduce the frequency and severity of injuries incurred by NYSIF policyholders. These services include safety training, hazard identification inspections, remediation services, as well as assistance with overall safety programs and component policies and procedures. NYSIF Risk Control Consultants also conduct ICR 59 Consultation and Compliance calls. NYSIF is seeking vendors to provide a high-quality web-based safety resource inclusive of Category A, a comprehensive online safety library and Category B, safety E-learning management package. These resources should be available for use by both NYSIF Risk Control Consultants in the day-to-day performance of their work duties as well as to clients as a valueadded component of their workers compensation policy. This value-added resource will allow NYSIF to deliver virtual safety resources to its policyholders and provide a cost-effective way to serve most small policyholders who may not otherwise be reached.
