Specifications include, but are not limited to: Replace/Repair items needed to make the Oil Water Separator and Pump State operate properly.BackgroundInformation:In 1993 a storm water manhole, a 10,000 gallon wet well with two submersible pumps and floats, a 2000gallon oil water separator with two floats and two control panels were installed at the Ithaca TompkinsRegional Airport.The system was inspected in 2009 and the following issues were found:- 10,000 gallon wet well is overflowing- Both pumps are seized and need replacing- Floats in the wet well are missing- Floats in the oil water separator had exposed wiring and were blowing fuses in the control panel- Pump alternator not operatingBased on the above information, the following items will need to be replaced and services performed:Pump out the waste in the oil water separatorReplace two pumps and their cordsReplace three wet well floatsReplace two oil water separator floatsReplace pump alternating relayClean wiringInstall items listed above
