The City of Buffalo Department of Fire (BFD) is seeking the implementation/installation of a Learning Management System (LMS) for the delivery of eLearning education courses or training programs. This Learning Management System will be used for the administration, documentation, tracking, reporting and delivery of eLearning education courses or training programs for the BFD. The Learning Management System must include on-line Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) educational services/training meeting the required New York State EMT certification/recertification requirements. In an effort to meet the training requirements by BFD for EMT certifications, BFD is seeking assistance from outside vendors. The following proposal guidelines will be used as a basis to advance the BFD through computer technology and advancing the training and education certifications of the BFD. It is expected that all Offerors will be capable of supporting the New York State certification requirements, demonstrating the required number of on-line hours, the instructional design template, evaluating and reporting student competencies, and integration with the current technology used and the respective systems that are supported by the BFD.
