Tasks/Deliverables The contractor must meet all objectives specified in this section and provide all deliverables to the Department as requested by the Department. The Department will provide necessary system access and permissions to fulfill objectives. Objectives are in support of Department goals for the Maternal Mortality Review program (MMR) and include: 1. Obtain medical records from hospitals and other medical facilities and other records as directed on behalf of the Department for cases being reviewed by MMR; 2. Abstract information from records obtained on behalf of or provided by MMR into a data system, as directed by MMR staff; 3. Collaborate with MMR staff to identify and obtain additional information identified as pertinent during the abstraction process or preparations for Maternal Mortality Review Board review. 4. Perform key informant interviews for all maternal death cases that will be reviewed by the New York State Maternal Mortality Review Board. 5. Review of all case narratives, complete all case summary forms, and present all cases to the Maternal Mortality Review Board during meetings.
