A. Project Management and Coordination: i. Quality of References Conduct a kick-off meeting with Town officials and relevant staff to establish a work plan, timeline, and communication protocol. ii. Work collaboratively with Town departments (e.g., Parks and Recreation, Public Works, Finance) to gather all necessary data, documentation, and project details. iii. Manage the project timeline to ensure all components are completed ahead of deadlines. B. Grant Application and Narrative Development: i. Complete the entire NY BRICKS Application (Appendix 1), including all sections and required information. ii. Develop clear, concise, and compelling responses to all narrative questions, particularly the 20 Project Impact questions in Section 4 of the application. The narrative must be data-driven and effectively communicate the community's need and the project's anticipated benefits. iii. Utilize the "Grants Map for NY Unplug and Play Programs" as instructed in the RFA to accurately complete Worksheet 1, 2, and 3 to calculate the Community Need and Project Planning score. C. Budget and Financial Documentation: i. Using Town provided Community.and.Recreation.Center.Needs.Assessment.and. Feasibility.Study, Develop a comprehensive and accurate Project Budget (Section 5 of the application). ii. Work with the Town to identify, document, and present all sources of funding, including the required 20% local match. iii. Assemble all supporting financial documentation, such as professional cost estimates, quotes, letters of commitment, and evidence of secured funds.
